Yes they are massive. Over 225lbs each. Each speaker has 21 drivers featuring 12 6.5” xbl2 woofers and 9 customized Neo 8 midrange/ tweeter panels. That’s a total of 42 drivers. The woofers have the surface area of 4 15” woofers.
Rated at 91db sensitivity
This design eliminates the possibility of distortion or compression since the drivers are sharing the load. You need thousands of watts of power to drive these into distortion.
The result is a speaker that is sonically correct even at “realistic” playing levels.
If you are a fan of electrostatics then these deserve a listen. The level of detail and sound placement is amazing.
